The Project:
Replacement of office flooring in Docklands
Carpet replacement in a high-density office which has system furniture is historically time consuming and costly. The area needed to be completely emptied of furniture necessitating closure or relocation of the office.

The Solution:
The ‘Relay’ system:
Out of hours, the existing furniture and IT systems were lifted off the floor by five centimetres using trolleys and jacks. This enabled the existing flooring to be replaced with new carpet tiles.
It should be noted that this system is designed to replace existing flooring with carpet tiles only.

Benefits:
Work carried out overnight, avoided disruption to the office. This was the most cost effective and efficient method of fulfilling the brief.
The staff were able to continue working without temporary relocation or loss of productivity.
